To me there are two songs which represent an era of being in "love with Life" for me. During the 50's life became magical with music friends, and memories of many warm summer evenings sitting on the porch all night listening to "The Hound", on WPTR. Fats Domino and his rendition of "Blueberry Hill" was a favourite of mine. At that period of my life my best buddy was my highschool teacher and we would sneak into the local elementary school at night there was a a record player there and we would play their record of Pat Boone's "Love Letters in the Sand" and we spent many an evening waltzing in the empty classroom until the early morning hours. This song brings back many great memories to me. What a special Memory. Blueberry Hill goes perfectly with the book "Blueberries for Sal" by Robert McCloskey - I'm sure you know that book.

During the late 50's I had another love, ". My job" I was a control room operator working in a radio station. I worked with the disc jockeys, and my job was to actually jockey or play the discs on the air. I could name or identify any song just by hearing the first couple of notes played. It was a wonderful period of my life.

This is a challenge rerun which is a little different. It's the "love" season. Use your images to illustrate a song title or phrase, a movie or book title, or a quote. Once you get "in the groove" the ideas come quickly. Need ideas? Google: love songs, love quotes etc. But "warning" this can be addicting.

This is the only one can think of right now

Can I Have This Dance.

A man splendored thing It most certainly is, and it is a great photo showing us that age does not matter where love is concerned

Should be a good one, Pat. Thanks for the challenge.

I wasn't thinking about Debbie Boone but when I saw this early morning shot from the Chico Hot Springs resort this song came to mind.

Very cool
