'To me there are two songs which represent an era of being in "love with Life" for me. During the 50's life became magical with music friends, and memories of many warm summer evenings sitting on the porch all night listening to "The Hound", on WPTR. Fats Domino and his rendition of "Blueberry Hill" was a favorite of mine. At that period of my life my best buddy was my highschool teacher and we would sneak into the local elementary school at night where there was a a record player and we would play the classroom's record of Pat Boone's "Love Letters in the Sand" and we spent many an evening waltzing in the dark empty classroom until the early morning hours. This song brings back many great memories to me. (R .I. P. Don)

During the late 50's I had another love, ". My job" I was a control room operator working in a radio station. I worked with the disc jockeys, and my job was to actually jockey or play the discs on the air. I could name or identify any song just by hearing the first couple of notes played. It was a wonderful period of my life.
