Hello all,
Thought I'd do an intro. First a little about myself. I'm new to photography (hence the biker term as a newbie). My significant other a couple years ago bought a D7500 as a Xmas gift knowing I love photography and having mentioned I wish I could take great pictures. The camera, just like my Harley I know there are better one's out there, but it came from the heart and I love it and her for gift.
Unfortunately this time last year I was under going chemo and radiation for throat cancer. It's a shit show nobody wants. Side effects are tough.
Anyhow, while getting cisplatin (chemo) I came across a quote and it resonated with me.
Thank you all in advance for the advice I'll be posting. Hopefully my chemo brain (Google it) won't be too annoying!

I have photographed since 1976. I’m far from newbie and am more akin to a crusty old fart. Enough of that silliness. I am a pharmacist very well versed in Cisplatin. The concept of “chemo-brain” is not as severe as the internet makes it sound. Sure you can be forgetful, we all are at times. I would like to offer some advice. First keep a pen and pad in your bag. Write down everything that you want to remember. Include a date so as to see how much progress you make. You will be surprised. Pain, post chemo would be excruciating. You can abate this symptom with ibuprofen or Acetaminophen liquid. I’m hesitant about viscous Lidocaine solution because it requires a prescription and can numb the back of your throat. Subsequently, you could burn the inside of your mouth from hot coffee or even pizza. Nausea and vomiting are usually controlled with prescription medication. You can relieve these side effects by chewing on ice or drinking Coca-Cola.
Obviously, you are doing much better because you placed a post. Now more than before, you have support from a large following.
