Albeit it's always a challenge getting illumination to the eyes with a cap brim shadowing same...
Concur with roxiemarty here... a kicker or two may have taken this visual statement entirely to the next level...

Thanks for the constructive criticism..always welcome. @jaymatt, this is my kid, and he literally has no personality so he always looks angry! But, really, he buys into the whole "Real men don't show emotions" theory and its really hard to get him to smile.

Nice shots. A reflector below him would soften the shadow from his hat brim....unless that is part of the mood. And a flash behind would separate him more from the background should that have been desired.
