#1.. The Corner. Here decisions are made. Turn right, turn left, go straight....

#2.. The Field. Just past Rolf's, along the way to Poverty Flat.

#3.. The Park. From outside the park, overlooking Pam's house.

#4.. The Portal. From off my back deck.

Yesterday morning.

I like all of them but for some reason I really like #1.

Frame one rocks my socks... great composition and colour;
I'd clone out the power lines that run across the frame... the others wires are good though.

Population is somewhere between 5-6,000 permanent, year 'round residents. In the Spring --especially around Easter-- the 'population' increases slightly. I've seen estimates that put it over 150,000 on weekdays and double that on weekends.

I wouldn't live anywhere else, despite its warts and wobbles.

Not the "urban" I'm used to, but beautiful shots!

Yup, nothing like the (shall we say 'grittier'?) 'urban' setting I grew up in, or subsequently lived in, or spent time in elsewhere, either.

Which is why I don't live in any of those areas any more.

Dang, Jim. Made me look. When I saw "Urban Landscapes" I thought "Where in hell is there an "urban landscape" in Moab?"

Thanx, Abo, but if I cloned out the power lines the poles would fall over. And either the clock on my stove would go out or my land line wouldn't work, one or the other. Or maybe both!

So the power lines hafta stay. They're all part of Reality.

All good, Jim, but #1 has an appeal that I cannot describe adequately.

I love going into big cities like that, though the traffic can get pretty ugly at times. Oh yeah before I forget it, Nice pictures depicting your territory.
