I've been receiving this commercial lately on my computer...has anyone tried to use it? It appears to sell the major Adobe software without subscriptions. Probably a scam...just curious???

I looked. Hope I now don't get hacked for having looked! It is interesting - and inviting. But as you scroll down and start seeing TTax, I wonder why anyone would purchase old TTax programs.

I'm not taking a chance by even looking.

I have Ps w/o a subscription. Ps CS6. I'm still using what I bought many years ago.

Me, too, and LR6.

I wonder what you actually download when you pay. Will you have to start paying Adobe monthly to use it?

In answer to the question about old tax programs---I recently emptied a computer so I can sell it. Copied all of my files to an external hard drive. But, could not transfer my tax preparation software. Everyone has three years to amend as return if they find something they missed. That happened to me. Suppose I need to make a correction to my 2019 tax return, I may have my original data file but I would need to get a copy of the 2019 software. It's either do that, or pull out the pencil and do everything manually. Bah Humbug! So, sometimes people do need these old programs to make life easier.

Like another said--I use LR 6. I had the subscription at one time, but preferred to have my own version.

Mine's just old, Ps CS6 installed from the original 2012 vintage DVD-ROM.

Back in the day when I did my own tax returns we would not change both computers at the same time so we could access old tax and other files for various needs. These days our returns are far too complex so we have a CPA firm do it for us. Back in the day I did fill in forms manually even if by PC or typewriter. We currently create our docs for our accountant using Word and Excel so no issues with yearly program incompatibility. Old Word docs can still be opened with Word 2021 via Office 365 Pro or what ever you prefer.

I looked at the link and it appears to be just a web page full of links for products. I tried the "contact" menu item but the only contact is by email. No phone numbers.

I am not unhappy with my copies of LR, PS, and DW. I will not be trying new things from someone without a phone contact.

Believe it or not, I'm still using Photoshop 7 from the year 2000 and I'm perfectly happy with it and I can do just about anything that people can do with later versions. Sure, I may have to take more steps to accomplish the same things that I can do with the current subscription versions but, what the hell? I've had the same disc with Photoshop 7 on it since it was GIVEN to me in 2000 and have been able to install it on every computer with every operating system that I've had since 2000 (XP, Windows 7, Windows 10). Photoshop 7 doesn't have a RAW editing capability (which I use extensively--I now shoot with a Nikon 7100 with a Tamron 18--270 mm lens as well as several Nikkor lenses) so I use View NX 2 which came with my Nikon D 7100 digital 24 MP camera and I'm perfectly happy with View NX 2 which I use first and later import my pictures into PS if I need to do further editing.

You can download the PS CC trial from Adobe and if you which files to delete you can use it beyond the trial period but no updates.

I have seen older versions of turbotax available at Amazon.
