Oh, he's terrible at buying new clothes, except underwear! He's really bad at throwing stuff away too, he has a wardrobe full of stuff that fitted him many years ago but he won't get rid of any of it!!!

Good morning all from a cloudy and misty Norfolk, at least it is dry at the moment, it rained all day yesterday apart from when it was trying to sleet and snow, more of the same threatened for tomorrow. Finished the first section of my afghan apart from the edging, five more to go, it's going to be enormous. Am sitting here watching all the bobble hats walk by, our hedge is tall enough to make it look as though they are out on their own. Well we find our amusement where we can these days. Have a good, safe day. xx

The bobble hats would be interesting to watch. Do you have that many people walking by your hedge.

Just as I was coming on here Mooch barfed and I had a mess to clean. Grr.

I opened the door to my room to the same thing. Bella-kitty has been good for a couple weeks now, so I don't know what she found to eat, and throw up.
My darling Princess has eaten the leaves off my avocado again. The avocado had just started to unfurl replacement leaves for the last batch that she removed. I can't get her any cat grass at the moment.

Well y'all I've been under the weather the last few days. Had a bit of a cough and just fatigued. At one point my blood sugar hit 519. I'm going to assume my body is battling some type of infection. Doesn't do me much good to go to the doc, I'm allergic to most antibiotics. Definitely going to have another word with my endo doc.
Till then I'm staying in bed. MrE made dinner for me tonight πŸ˜‹ potato and cabbage with onions and smoked sausage, with green beans. He even baked a Mac and cheese for his dad. It was really sweet considering MrE does not eat Mac n cheese. And it tasted great. A hot meal has done me wonders, I'll sleep well tonight.

I'm sorry that you are unwell.
MrE sounds like a good cook.

I'm afraid that I am bad at that too. I have a few boxes of stuff that used to fit. I'm hoping to get back into them in the spring (maybe summer) so I don't want to get rid of them. They're only 1 size small.
My winter stuff all fits, but I usually put on a few pounds in the winter when I am not as active outside. (I don't enjoy winter sports.)

Good Afternoon, a brighter 🌀️ day. Electricians here and the generator is up and running now, just the flick of a switch and the push of a button.. bad weather, bring it on! No more emptying 2 fridges, loosing my freezer food or worrying about heating fish tanks.. lights and tv a bonus. Ruben sandwiches for dinner. xoxoxo

Awesome. i'm so glad for you.
I like Ruben sandwishes too. With big pickles on the side.

Most likely it's seen as too casual to be in the presence of a Queen with bare arms.

At my sister's 1st wedding, I had to wear gloves that went all the way up to my upper arm so I wouldn't have bare arms. It's not just the Queen that specifies no bare arms. Some of the churches here say the same thing.
Her 2nd wedding was on the beach, so a coverup over a bathing suit was acceptable.

I have to stay away from the jelly beans.! I can keep a bag of chocolate forever and just have 1 piece a day, but jelly beans are my downfall.
I have only put on a couple pounds more than my normal winter weight.

I never realized how old some of my clothes were. Last year I had to get a new drivers license with a new picture. I looked at the old picture and realized I still wore the shirt I wore 8 years ago on that picture.
