Took the ranger for a ride at Hungry Horse Reservoir....this road will go from Hungry Horse MT to the Spotted Bear ranch...over 50 miles. In winter, it's a snowmobile trail. Figured since it has been so cold, the road might be froze up enough to take the ranger....from the damn parking lot we got about 12 miles...then trail got just one snowmobile track wide and we had to turn around or get stuck!
Will take the snowmobiles next time...lol

If the "ranger" is a Ford Ranger, it's a good truck. I drive a Ford Ranger Wildtrak with a diesel that's not available in the States.

Thanks Don, glad you enjoy our adventures as much as we do! The ranger is a side by side..we just got it in Dec. and I love it! Lots of back roads and trails we can take it on that you wouldn't want to take your truck.

What size engine does your Ranger have got? Who is the manufacturer?
Impressive tires for snow.
I am sure, the people who got stuck did not have the chains tow straps or cables?
