Light rain in the lower elevation (4,000') of town, light snow in the higher elevation (5,200') of Arches. Temperature hovered a degree or two above freezing, so though snow fell in the highest portion of the park, what fell melted immediately. By most people's standards, probably a stay-at-home sort of day. By my standards, a great day to be out.

Images from the Garden of Eden to just short of the Windows Section in Arches Nat'l Park.

Thanks. And yes, it was harrowing indeed. Actually had to wait for one of the two traffic lights between me and the park to change. Can you imagine anything worse? or how much fortitude something like that requires?

And what was rain yesterday became snow last night. Gotta go now. Big Boy Pants will be required to go dig out. Hope I get awarded a Medal or something nice for my bravery!

Jim,
I like the series, esoecially#3 in which the deadfall ties in the concrete here-and-now of Earth’s foreground with the sky’s infinity. One can say that about many images, but that specific effect is particularly striking to me in this one!

Terry the Terror! Oh, noes! Moab quakes in fear!

Will she be sporting her "Law Breakers" biker club colors this next time? Or does she figure to arrive incognito again?
