A forest full of rusting cars for art photography. And buses, vans, trucks, etc ...

For a car junkie, it’s a bit like walking the Louvre, if that famous museum had left the Mona Lisa outside for 25 years.
Old Car City Most of the vehicles are from the 20th century, and the classic cars from the 1950s through the 1980s are arranged haphazardly.
Old Car CityImages shared in this post come from an EOS 5DIII, with lenses EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM, EF 70-200 f/4L USM and EF 50mm f/1.8. Processing in Adobe Lightroom v6 and Topaz Denoise v6.
Old Car City These images are sized to fill your wide-screen display. Try using <F11> to maximize your browser window for the full effect. If the images overshoot your display, such as a laptop, just click on the image or the URL link and they'll resize to your screen from the host Flickr site. You can click a bit further into the image details on the Flickr page, if desired. EXIF data is available from the host Flickr pages as well. On the Flickr site, use your <L>key for Large and the <F11> for the full-screen.
If the images are not filling your widescreen display due to recent UHH changes, follow this link and update your UHH profile:

I imagine the last photo was the original Dodge Ram ornament. Nice set.
Great images, Paul. I need to see that place for myself someday.
Really nice work, Paul. The quality of the work here almost allows the viewer to feel the texture of the surface of these vehicles.

Just think these would have been great photos if taken with a mirrorless camera
Thank you
tcthome, Jerry, Doddy, John, Bob, Charles! Although one day is better than zero, I suggest trying for two days at OCC, maybe consecutive or maybe bookends around a trip to / near the Atlanta area. If you head in opposite directions from the junkyard entrance, you'd never overlap the same cars / sights in those two days, it's that huge of a location. And of course, bring your mirrorless camera.

These are what separate photographers from people who take photos; beautifully done.

I had two trucks sprouting trees like that when we bought our place in the earlier 70's.
