The city of Koper, Slovenia taken across the harbor while in Piran, Slovenia. I was out with one lens on an Olympus E-30 and had no desire to walk back to the monastery to get a longer lens. There was no way to capture the lowish-rise skyline of Koper. Decided on ICM. The first shot was taken while standing on a jetty, hand-held, rotating my body from left to right.

The second shot was processed differently in Aperture 3 and then flipped ninety degrees to the right.

Nice Horizontal Movement..pg.3

Yes, Judy! It would seem so easy, but it isn't always. Twirl around in your kitchen!

Similar look using gallery effects:

Similar zoom effects, yes. On your next walk, Karin, try rotating your camera or moving it up and down on some trees.

Yay, a reason to get dizzy while doing photography!

Absolutely - some of u should not try looking up through a viewfinder while rotating a camera! Ha Ha I tried it this afternoon and am still standing. Then flew the flag from high in the tree.

Mistakes welcome. And that is EXACTLY what one article I read said - we are so used to "edged and crisp" that it's hard to imagine anything soft and "out of focus".
