This is quite an accomplishment for the Bucs.... I am from Tampa bay but relocated to Alabama 13 years go. Brady has been the catalyst the ever improving Bucs needed to reach the next level. I was in the stands in Dec. of 77 when the Bucs won their first ever game in the Big Sombrero in Tampa. The previous week they had their very first win ever in New Orleans and we met the Team at 1:30 in the morning at One Buc. Place. Being a part of that experience and rubbing elbows with the likes of Leroy Selmon etc.. was really something. After beating the cardinals the following week we stormed the field and pulled the posts down....unbelievable excitement. Now, it is back in TB for the big one... I wish them well and the Canons will be roaring on the pirate ship no matter what the outcome.

Yes, Brady has brought them to the super bowl and it will be the first time in history that a team gets to play in their own stadium for a super bowl. Our pro hockey team also won the Stanley cup, and our baseball team almost made it to the world series.

Great win for the Bucs but I wonder if they’ll able to use the canons. The SB is supposed to be a neutral site and the canons would impact the neutrality.

Tampa has sure had a great year for pro sports with the Rays, Lightning, and now the Bucs all doing well. I grew up in Tampa back in the 40's and 50's and the only highlight I had was watching Pete Rose win the batting title while playing for the Tampa Tarpons farm team. Never thought Tampa would ever have even one pro team. We had the White Sox and the Red Legs at Al Lopez field while the Yanks were at Al Lang field in St Petersburg for spring training.

Glad you caught that dan... I have 4 wives named Sony, Canon, Sigma and Olympus in no particular order... and they keep me broke. This was not a subtle dig... Anyhow, hanging out around the ship and the CANNONS in the end zone is worth the cost of admission...

Pete Rose gets treated awful IMHO... Al Lang was a going place back in the day when I lived in St. Pete. Just as a sidebar Babe Ruth used to drink beer at my Grandfathers when we lived in St. Louis and the Yankees played the St.Louis browns. Had an autographed ball but can't find it.

Crosetti may also hold the record for numbers retired by a team. He wore 5,1 and 2 during his career and the Yankees have retired all of them.
