Another of your great studio photos. I am nowhere close to your level, but, noticing the shadows cast by the clutch, I might have had the model twist a little to her right or move a light to eliminate the shadow cast on the thorax...

Thank you so much for your very kind words and continued support Tom DePuy... it is truly appreciated...
And it helped to have a stunning fashion model at the other end of the lens... She actually had this concept and provided Diane von Furstenberg Clutch...

All the best on your wonderful journey Tom
And please stay safe...

"...noticing the shadows cast by the clutch, I might have had the model twist a little to her right or move a light to eliminate the shadow cast on the thorax..." Keen eye Ourspolair, yes the key light (a 30x40 inch softbox high on camera right) left a shadows on her upper chest from the clutch... However as long as there are not conflicting shadows from secondary illumination sources it is generally not an issue... Remember in portraiture shadows are your friend... they provide bias relief to a "flat" two dimensional image... Albeit in this instance I did toy with the idea of isolating the shadows to the side and above and provide content aware fill... however since this image is not appropriate or germane for my commercial book I let it slide...

Please keep in mind that this talent was topless on set as such "Set Etiquette" predicated affording her ample "Personal Space" She is a professional fitness and fashion model not an "Art Model" i.e. nude model. I was shooting with a 85mm at over a dozen feet away and didn't notice the shadows until post processing the image.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your keen and skillful input Ourspolair... It is greatly appreciated and I always grow professionally from comments such as yours...

All the best on your wonderful journey Ourspolair

raymondh you are always way too kind...
This talent deserves all the credit here...
She had the concept and provided the clutch...

Also these pose dynamic is of her making...
I provided no direction except to encourage her to point her nose directly at the key light and fix her gaze on same..

All the best on your epic journey raymondh
And please stay safe...

Wow! Delicious, thanks Thomas. And as always, your commentary is greatly appreciated.

"Mama, look what I got from this nice man at the studio: a real Diane von Furstenberg clutch!! I only traded my old T-shirt for it :-)
