I went up to Mt Pinos Sunday night. Took my Skyguider Pro and a modified Canon T3i with a Rokinon 135mm lens. My redlight flashlight battery was dead and it was freezing, so I could see anything and I could feel anything. But I managed to get ~2 hours of 30 second exposures to stack. I must have had a cable catch, so I lost more than half of my photos.

On a good note, even with ~1/4 moon, the sky was great, I could see colors of the stars...amazing.

Thanks everyone...I give credit to the great skies at that site. Too bad its too much work to haul a telescope up there. I want to make another trip and try out Pleiades. I think that will be a great widefield too.
