Okay, I hope this fits the challenge. Same subject, different perspectives, season and treatments. The last one was from a moving car so it was out of focus just enough to matter so I added a funky treatment.

The Inlet Eye Ferris Wheel, Ocean City, MD 2020

Wonderful fun💕

Great starter pics Jim, and I like "the hills" too. I don't think I have many repeats in my archive, but what I like to do sometimes is to compare some places I have been as they appear now on Google Street View. Here is a set from Deadwood SD, taken during my trip in 1961. The google images are from slightly different dates, but the time span between the comparison pairs is over 50 years, so that these images show historical change, rather than seasonal or lighting changes.

Of course the shots are from slightly different vantage points, including Google's rather more elevated van-top position. Also obvious is the difference wrought by differing equipment. My photos are from a Rollei fitted with a 35mm accessory so I could take Kodachrome slides - that had the effect of narrowing the field of view and giving a mild tele effect. I later traded the Rollie for a Minolta, a decision I regret to this day, but in those days I couldn't afford to keep both. And living in Kenya, I needed to be able to mount a tele lens for wildlife and I have lots of Minolta shots I wouldn't want to have missed

The first Deadwood Main St. view shows the effects of the fire which threatened the edges of town in 1959 (see trees on the left), and it looks as though there had been a fire near Lead before the Google team went through. The Lead pair also show the tele effect of the Rollei's 35mm accessory.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Things sure look lively in Deadwood😇
