You've probably heard the adage: Life: it's what happens while you are making other plans. My photography often goes that way. I went out to get some osprey fishing and while my attention was skyward for the osprey I heard a terrible racket. I ignored it at first but then as it kept up a looked down and started shooting right away. What follows is the result.

I'd have to call that "being at the right place at the right time with the right lens and the right settings"

I enjoyed your terrific sequence of action, Ken. That was quite a show. I was pleased to get a sequence of a Blue Heron catching and devouring a fish I estimated to be between 4 & 5 inches in size.

Great set. I recently posted a series of crows chasing off a hawk. They usually get their way.
