Another part of nature in my backyard.
Yesterday's Rose with just a few hints of color from it's former beauty.
But see the Rose Hip there, inside the seeds develop and those are the Roses of tomorrow so here we see a hint of the past, the present and the hope of the future.

Beautiful rendering of an excellent capture. That ring flash seems to be working nicely for you. Please stay safe and keep on sharing.

Thank you.

Yes it does an excellent job. I will continue to do experiments from time to time to see what it can do.

Pretty close, soon it will be just a ripening rose hip on the stem.

Robert, excellent. The story of this rose's life was great.

Thanks very much. The rose was rather pretty - cream with pink accents - so I am going to mark this rose hip and leave it when I trim the bush then see if I can get something to grow from the seeds. I know it is possible to grow roses from seeds, their are articles on line.

Thanks, my plan to try and get seedlings from this one died when the wind tore up the remains and broke stem so the hip dried up without ripening. But there is another large rose on the bush and several buds.
