Great shots. I think a lot of people don't realize places like this are still around.

Made a quick trip up to Wyoming this past Saturday to fetch a Power Ball lotto ticket...and an excuse to do some photography. These old structures are part of a working ranch and back in the hills a ways behind locked gates. I happened to drive by as the rancher and a couple of his teen age sons were taking a wagon load of hay to feed his cattle. He invited me in to photo these old structures that have been on my list for quite some time. As you can see by looking on the ground, the main occupants these days are the cattle...you had to be careful where you walked!

Great images. Old buildings don't have to tell a story, but they beg us to make up our own!

Now, if you also win PowerBall you'll be able to buy Wyoming and invite us all out.

Fantastic set Jim.

They are a staple of the old west and wish we didn't have to drive so far to find them!!

Got to three more similar sites in the hinterlands of Wyoming, yesterday. They are there but you sure put on the miles to locate these gems!!.

Thanks turp...guess it goes by several monikers like "hit or miss" and were quite popular on ranches back in the day!!
