Made a quick trip up to Wyoming this past Saturday to fetch a Power Ball lotto ticket...and an excuse to do some photography. These old structures are part of a working ranch and back in the hills a ways behind locked gates. I happened to drive by as the rancher and a couple of his teen age sons were taking a wagon load of hay to feed his cattle. He invited me in to photo these old structures that have been on my list for quite some time. As you can see by looking on the ground, the main occupants these days are the cattle...you had to be careful where you walked!

Great images Jim
The object in your last image looks like a belt driven water pump.

These are great, jederick. Knowing the history and time period of old structures like these would be fascinating. Great timing for you and some great shots!

Thank you, Frank and I thought it might be an irrigation pump of some sort.

Many thanks, John...would have enjoyed getting some of that history from the rancher but he was on his way to feed the cattle. One time, I would like to put a story along with the history in one of these posts!!
