Lucky for you and then lucky for us that you were at the right place at the right time to be invited in. Really nice shots, Jim!

Many thanks, Marg...for being in the "high country" there wasn't much snow left in these scenes...you had more!!

When I see pictures of old buildings like this it just makes me wonder if those buildings could talk and tell the story of the occupants who live there through the years it would be so interesting. Your images are very very good very sharp and clear.
Bruce

Many thanks, Bruce and, like you, would love to get some idea of the family history and the experiences of living the "good life" away from the bright lights!!

Outstanding images. You need to take more quick trips and be lucky and watch where you walk.

Many thanks, Stan and I agree about the quick trips as I see the lotto is now up to $670 million. I did get some "residue" on my boots!!

Rick, and awesome set of old log structures. DDLs show how they were dovetailed in to hold it together. Thank you for this set.

Greg

Thanks CLF and the rancher knew how to build these old buildings and they have stood the test of time and wild winters!!

Thanks whatdat...these were out of Evanston, WY about 20 miles.

Thanks. We only passed through the area once on the way back home from NW Wyoming. Did most of our horse camping around the areas of Wind River, Bridger, Pinedale, & some just SE of Yellowstone. Beautiful area of the country. These old building have always intrigued me; can’t help but imagine what life was like for those who lived in those old houses in the past. Enjoyed the pics & would like to see more.
