I know their names!!

Pouncem, Chewem, Killem.

Dogs are better than a security alarm.
They watch the door and will scare the stupid out of many people.

I once had a cat. When the doorbell rang he would look at me hoping I will let a stranger in to feed him.

We once had a cat that was convicted the only reason a person would come to the front door was to kill her. Had people visit or years without ever seeing her.

A strong wind will bring her down.

Still standing, but not for long.

She seems so lovable. Other dog is a cutie.

She is and Toby can be a crack up. Even the bottoms of his feet are hairy and we have tile floors. When he runs and tries to make a sharp turn he looks like a movie stunt driver doing a "rum runner 180".

Enjoyed the shot Steve. I have two doberman pinchers who love to sit by the front door. The younger one really love to show how fierce she is. Only problem is they are both miniature pinchers. Mahalo for sharing.

I used to have a Great Dane and a cat that were best friends. The dane always would bark and growl whenever someone came to the door, and the cat would follow him to the door. As the dane got older & slowed down he didn't always do his job when someone came to the door. At this point the cat took over and would rush to the door growling.

I love the interaction of dogs and cats. Quite contrary to expectations, they really are the best of friends.
