This landscape caught my eye due to the uneven shoreline of the pond as well as the partially frozen/snow covered water with unfrozen in the foreground. This was shot in RAW, converted to jpg, and not edited. Have fun with it. Bev

This is a beautiful winter scene you gave us to work with. I did my edits without changing your composition then give you well deserved credit for the photo in the lower right. Thank you for submitting a wonderful winter landscape scene.
Very nice scene. Thanks for letting us work on it.
Very seasonal. That's just what it's like where I am.

Thank you for sharing this photo with us. I tried different approaches to the cabin but was not satisfied with any of them so I left it alone.

Never saw the cabin till you mentioned it Jerry. You have better 👀 than me. 👍
Here's mine. It's my "normal" processing (exposure down, highlights down, clarity up a bit, vibrance up a tad and sharpening). I did add a neutral density filter at the top to bring out a bit more detail in the sky.

I know what a Neutral Density filter is for a lens but not for Post Processing. Where did you get it and how did you do that in your post production edit?
Thank you,
Jim

It's in LR. It's the rectangular-looking thing on the same row as the cropping tool.
There is a cabin back there.
Beautiful image Bev. Seemed like it might snow a little more.

Thank you for the credit Jim, I like the font. Bev

I actually wish it would Bill. I love snow photography and I'm usually out daily, but this year we've not had any accumulation more than the image shows. Better be careful what I wish for, we've had 6 ft here some years. Bev

I purposely did not look at any edits before I did this edit. I wanted to try and accentuate that tree with no leaves. Then I thought it might be fun to play with the colors a bit. It is not realistic at all; but I like the way it came out. Thanks for this photo to work on. Lots of fun.
