It's a beautiful image just the way it is. I would consider cropping just below the clouds since I don't feel that they add to your composition. This makes the image simpler and makes the H-34 even more prominent. But that would be just a minor improvement to an already beautiful image.

First of all, let me say this is a magnificent shot. You nailed it.

Now, in response to your request, if you ever get a similar chance, try slowing your shutter so you get some blurring of the blades. In this case, f/16, 1/500 might have done the trick.

Finally let me repeat, this s a magnificent shot. Frame it and hang it.

Great shot of a classic helicopter! I don't see anything that needs to be done to it....

As an old army helicopter pilot and photographer, I wouldn’t change a thing. You nailed it. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and I’ve got lots of hours in Huey’s. Grand old lady that one.

Looks to me like a perfect shot of the iconic H34 which all their pilots were trained on at Pensacola FL back in the 60's.

Can't tell you how much that shot means to this old Navy photographer. Spent many hours in that bird in the Nam...It is a great photo too.
