But I do agree with a couple of her "points". I think Medicare and SS need a re-vamping. I disagree with the policy of forced participation in Medicare Part-A. I'm retiring outside the US so I opted out of Part-B because it is an expense from which I will get absolutely no benefit. I think Medicare should be entirely voluntary. I believe Medicaid should be only for those who truly need it, not a catch-all. Roe vs. Wade should never have been passed to begin with, and I'm not talking about "a woman's body". This thing has become a monstrous ghoul.

Not everyone thinks Obama and Biden are brilliant. I think they are both dumber than a sack of rocks. One measure of intelligence is a person's ability to speak extemporaneously. Obama showed his lack of that ability Wednesday night. Anyone can be appointed to any committee, with enough political pull. Biden being chairman of the "Foreign Relations Committee" means nothing in itself. My Beagle could be appointed to that post. And Obama was not, as most here already know, a professor of anything, University of Chicago or anywhere else. He was "Guest Lecturer", whatever that means. Again, anyone (my Beagle?) could be invited to speak or lecture. That isn't any measure of vast intelligence.

But did anyone know that Navy Seals movie Obama probably will be shown in... dont know yet.. but probably will make an appearance as the ONE who SHOT bin Laden.. well now instead of that movie being shown in theatres in December... it will NOW be playing in theatres TWO days before Election time... so dont tell me this wasn't a planned effort on Obama's part to boost up his ratings... This the most sickening thing I have ever seen. He will not go down a loser to Romney... that's for sure... so he has to 'steal' his actions... by making them move that movie up BEFORE the election.

Mattie, unfortunately I think you are right. These people will stop at NOTHING to retain their power. Running Obama in 2008 was the best stroke of genius his handlers could ever have come up with. He's the perfect "useful idiot", does what he's told, reads whatever is on his teleprompter without question, and the race thing makes him a magnificent shill. They don't need smart - they have an automaton.

I think we will see the most conniving under-handed election tactics ever in our history within the next month or so. How can ANYONE think this is the type of people we want as president of our once-great country?

I guess no african American could satisfy you that they were accomplished. But the president of the law review is determined by his peers. His inclusion into the Law Review itself is based upon a blind (no name attached) series of essays and his grade point average, (also blind).

Hard to see how his skin color could affect that, eh?
