PayPaI SCAM!!!

I received an e-mail that my PayPaI account will be suspended because of questionable credit card fraud. If you notice that the L in the logo is changed to the letter “I”. This was my first clue something was awry. I wish I had a PayPal account but my wife’s credit card is linked to an account so she gets what we need and want. That is the second clue that something was amiss.
Finally the website this e-mail was generated from did not look like anything recognizable.
I still cannot believe that we are 10 days into the new year and the scammers are back at work. I wish they would get a real job but they are so stupid to know any better.

My advice to all Hoggers. Make a phone call to the named parties, report that someone wanted to clarify your accounts on line. They wanted your credit card number and passwords so they could hack into your account.

This makes me so angry I wish I could press a button on my keyboard to “blow up” their computer.

My advice is not to visit the spoofer's website - you could acquire a nasty virus, and I'm not talking about Covid!

I frequently get recorded calls regarding my PayPal account. I try to keep them on the phone as long as possible, just to waste their time. I've never had a problem with my account.

It will be job one today. I will have to tell my wife to do the dishes. Hopefully she won’t throw one of them at me.

Even the scammers are getting bored on Covid lock down. As a result a lot of the ones I see have really dumb mistakes. Yesterday I got an Email from "Western Union Finance Branch" saying my account was frozen due to misuse of my credit card and click on this link to verify my ID and information. The last time I did anything with Western Union was in the 70's. If they do I never heard of them having a Finance Branch/Bank/Credit Card etc. And for the topper my e-mail client shows the full return and it was someone in the UK according to their Email address.

I may need a new keyboard, my delete key is wearing out.

I don't think the scammers are stupid. They are taking advantage of stupid people and laughing all the way to the bank.

I know a professor of computer science at UC Irvine. When I asked if a virus could be coded that would go back to them and screw up their computer when you answered and his reply was "Uh, maybe!" I took that for a Yes, but I am too nice a guy to write it for you.

I think someone was trying to run a scam on me, I having a few cameras for sales and a person wanted my bank account number, I said no way and that was the end of that sale.

It is sad that these scammers can ruin your credit and make your life utter hell. And they don’t care how much they hurt another person. But if the tables were turned they would scream like a cat when it’s tail gets caught under a rocking chair.
