So sadly true and it seems to become worse as time passes on.

I'm a Computer Industry veteran. "Social Media" is just the logical and quite simple extension of old fashioned Bulleting Boards etc. They're not sophisticated. Sites like Facebook, Instagram, etc. are, in my mind, "Value Priced." Meaning they're really worth what you pay for them. And the folks who run them are a step beyond flim- flam artists. (Recent events even bear this out). I predicted early on that "Social Media" would self destruct from being overwhelmed by innocents who believe in universal decency, trolls, hackers and other malevolents.

SO many photographers and artists rely on Intsta, that I'm sad to see such behavior. I'm not surprised, but sad. Those in the Intellectual Property business need to be careful where they post, and be assured their images are safe, and their identities and "rights" are preserved.

I echo the other members comments on the special quality of your images. It is a great complement to be mistaken for A National Geo photographer. But not SO big a compliment that it overshadows such a baseless accusation. Keep your images well marked with copyright info, and only post lower res images, so they can't be stolen. cuz, they ARE steal worthy.

Now, block this AH, And keep shooting and Posting HERE!

CHG got it right (as did many others). As enraging as the accusations might be 1) they are untrue, and 2) there is nothing you can do to stop the complainant. Calumny is infuriating but it is not a conviction. That is the critical distinction.
