Morning from my little corner of the world. I have been awake since midnight. Got laundry washed, dried, and folded, put some Christmas decorations away, and knit a baby hat. Now my day is free to do nothing special. I just turned on the roomba so that will vacuum for me.

Sorry you didn't sleep, I would not be able to function at all without my 8 hours!! Will you have a nap in your chair later? At least you achieved something with your 'awake' time! xxxx

Eyes are doing great thanks. They have improved more since surgery. I was told that it could take a few months to settle down. Can now read without glasses, provided I hold things far enough away from my eyes! Xx

Good morning. The forecast is for 60°F so maybe a socially distanced firepit New Year’s Eve get together.
I decided to do some Barbie clothes for the DGD’s birthdays so began stringing beads for a ball gown. I’m nuts already. Here’s a website that has endless possibilities. I’m not sure if sizing works so I’m borrowing a doll from the DGD next door. She had her tonsils out yesterday so I hope she’s doing okay.

I went to the doc and told them, I go back Wednesday. It was just a lab day the other day but I did tell them. They didn't call me back with instructions so I guess they aren't too worried.

Well I slept all day yesterday literally, and woke up around 3am went back to sleep till idk when but I'm awake and already irritated by hon hon... He needs to go back to work soon. Roll on Monday!!!

Happy end of the year to you all. You know those days when everything goes wrong and you wished you'd stayed in bed, well...that's me today. I always watch the news downstairs while heating my lunch, well..today that didn't happen. The tv downstairs came on then went off, never to be seen again. I've checked the humax box and that's showing me it's working but I know it's not....so, after tomorrow I'm going to fone the to man, or the areal man, I'm not sure who....so I'm not getting on with my knitting today. I've come to my bed where the rest of the world can't see me and goodbye 2020.
I'm not seeing new year in so I'll say to you happy new year nd I see you tomorrow. Love yawl....ill catchup then do some jigsaws while my iPad is working hahaha.......it's only an tv. Have a great new year whoever you spend it with.
The gvt say that our tees valley area is 12th from the bottom of the list for Covid, so we've done very well. BUT because we are in the middle of very contagious areas we have to go to tier 4. It's a bit upsetting but I don't think I care anymore. Love yawl..xxx
