I typically get 4 or 6 of these a day. I must be in great favor! I have half a dozen email accounts, but get the "money" offers only on one - which happens to be the account based on one of my websites - which I've had for years.

About 25 yrs ago I got a call from a guy whose “recently deceased father was Dr. so-and-so who was a close friend of our company CEO, was liquidating his office equipment and wanted to give his father’s closest friends the opportunity to buy at a steep discount”. What this scammer didn’t know was that our CEO’s office was about 50 ft down the hall from me so I scared the scammer off. Damned if the same guy with the deep telltale voice with same scam didn’t call me every year for about 5 years, updating the name (sometimes correctly) of the latest CEO. I finally told him to get a new scam or get someone else with a different voice to make these calls. Never heard from him again.
