I am surely seeing the good life, a comfortable chair to sit in, a nice desk to work at, a Chinese rug to rest your bare feet on and a friendly loyal pal available for ear scratches. Thanks for sharing a great image.

Thank you! Kinda funny - talk about getting out of your depth. The rug you see is Indian - the first we ever bought. I studied books, looked at rugs, did all the checks "experts" recommended - the Rug Merchant was laughing, though not obviously. Though it is still going strong after 40 odd years, we paid too much. Working then, so no big thing - we got our moneys worth for sure. As to the pals, three, love them all!

Oops, I guess I should have been paying more attention to the Antique Road Show. Indian, you say, well I like it and as far as paying too much, I would say that pro-rated over 40 odd years, you got a great deal. The truthh is - it is not what something costs but what it is worth that matters. Thanks I have enjoyed your postings.
