The basic surface sculptural design plan is based on f=ma.

IMO Engineers/physicists seem to delight in explaining movements and arrangements of all sorts of “stuff” as the ultimate result of f=ma (force =mass x acceleration).

When gathered in groups of three or more one of them mutters the equation and all the others sagely nod their heads. It seems to have been ever thus!
I suspect that they swear some sort of oath to that effect in physics/ engineering school!

I’m just sayin’.....

I like the competing diagonals.

Thanks for the comment re: the diagonals. I thought them to be significant compositional elements in this image!
Nice. To hear some agreement!

F = wind force.

A = gravity (which is described in that equation as an acceleration rather than a force).

I've always seen wind-swept snow as one of the best examples of randomness. But even randomness has a way of gravitating towards predictable forms and structures - just don't try to predict the specifics.

Thanks, Coz’, for getting into the spirit of the opening post comment!
