Not a reflection on their popularity. The Admin would know why they’re not featured now.

Laugh all you want, folks.

Cell phone cameras are here to stay. They get better all the time; they can take excellent photos, given their sensor limitations; and they do a first-rate job for the masses who aren’t into serious photography like most of us here are.

In the picture-taking world, the likes of us are a vast minority.

I agree. The key to camera phone photography is planning the composition ahead of time to get the most out of its capabilities. And that’s true for any kind of camera/lens combination.

I'd say there are quite a few serious Iphonagraphers in the world. https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/news/apple/146898-the-best-apple-iphone-photos-ever-taken

Actually, I was going to post a couple that I took on Christmas day. However, when I tried to upload the images to my computer, all I got was a message that there were "no photos" on my phone. (But I have LOTS!). When I tried to do it from my cell phone directly to UHH, it wouldn't upload the image.

Is this becoming an impromptu challenge? Still taking pictures with the phone, such as the one of a truck passing me on the freeway.

I don't usually submit them in this category since they go away so quickly. The photo gallery sticks around a while.

Ha. Smartphone photography is here to stay. Last time I went to Astros baseball game. 40,000 in the crowd. In just my little area along 3 rd base line I must’ve seen 1000 smartphone snapping away I’d ventur to say out of the 40,000 folks there were probably 30,000 smart phones
