Once upon a time, about 40 years ago, I was walking along my favorite beach when I happened upon a co-worker who, along with a blonde lass, was also walking along the beach. We exchanged greetings and got into a discussion about photography. He asked me if I "was still doing those" and I replied in the affirmative. Then he suggested to the lass that she have me take some photos of her. I was pleasantly surprised when she agreed. So I got my camera out of my backpack and she and I ran through a roll of PlusX. I have previously posted one of the resultants but here are three more. The background for the third photo is quite distracting but this is a case of my paying attention to the subject and forgetting about the background. This is a common problem I face; I call it "Getting caught up with the emotion of the moment."

Beautiful series of photos, Jim!

I do not consider the background in photo three to be distracting. It provides a nice textured contrast to the light sand. The various shadows intermingled with the model's tan lines add interest to the image. Lighting and contrast very nice on the Plus-X. If you exposed an entire roll with this subject, a few more views would certainly be welcome. A very photogenic model indeed!

Nice again, and I agree with W8K about the third shot.

There's a guy in the background (on the left) with a pair of binoculars watching you. I'd clone him out.

I have been looking for the guy for 2 days now but I have not found him. The task is very difficult because of a foreground distraction. Don't tell my just yet where he is... I am enjoying the search.
