Thanks. I believe the lens is sold. If anything falls apart I will let you know. The Chinon lens is still available. Its well rated on Pentax forums. It is a manual lens just like an Pentax M lens although it has Auto written on the lens ring.

Thanks for letting me know and keeping me on the "next" list. I have been using Pentax for many film years and have a bunch of lenses, but not the f1.2. Now using a K3 and every old lens I have!

Thanks for the tip. I also use a 50mm f2 with a reversing ring. Just picked up the 4x microscope lens for about $20 and it is amazing. Depending on length of extension tubes or bellows, produces from about 1x to almost 5x with crop sensor. The lens needs an adapter from microscope thread to M42 which I think was about $7. Also has quite good working distance!
