I havre a 28-300 and a 100-400. I may also sell my 200-500. I don't like selling lenses but I can't carry the weight.

I have more glass and cameras than brains. I don't need the money but I physically cannot handle the weight of these lenses.

Without knowing how heavy the lens is have you tried using a mobile especially those that come with the three on the bottom

I don't have trouble with my 100-400 or my 70-200's. I like to hand hold and I have a hard time with using a tripod (even lighter ones) and a camera mostly due to weight and balance. I'm subject to falling.

Amazon have a monopod that has three small feet at the bottom which are retractable that forms an extremely light weight tripod probably two pounds in weight
