Try a different box of paper.
You know, funny you should say that. I had 1 print in that group that didn't fade. Yesterday I turned it over to get the number of the image and lo and behold, it was HP paper. Everything else is Canon paper! I'm about to the bottom of that box. Maybe I'll open a new one. I reprinted some yesterday. And now I have a new problem. When I print from LR, prints look fine. When I print via Windows (which I normally do) they look awful - monochrome brown! I think today I'll see if I have any HP paper left and try it.
Kathy - the most likely culprit is the 3rd party inks. You're mixing different chemistries until the printer tubes clear out the previous versions of ink. Although I won't use them (especially not for prints that will be sold), many like Precision Colors. The second possibility that comes to mind is paper. The easiest way to get good results is to use Canon paper and let the printer manage color. My favorite paper though is Red River - just be sure to download their paper profiles and use them when printing.

Well, as I just stated to another poster, these were all Canon papers. The only one that didn't fade was on HP paper. I found an old box of it that had been sitting around for probably 10 years or so and used it for a "quick look" print. It's still holding its colour and density very nicely! I'm thinking maybe the Canon paper went bad on me?????
If you are getting direct sunlight on them, they will fade fast.

I've been pretty careful about that. It's very indirect light.
