As a long time Ambassador for Maker's Mark I receive annual Christmas gifts from Maker's Mark. This year is was a deck of playing cards with a little history of Maker's Mark on each card. A few years ago, I received some earmuffs for my Personalized Bottle of Maker's. I thought it was funny so I did a composite with it along with some of images I had taken at the Maker's Mark campus in Loretto,Kentucky. Second image shows the images I used.

Over the years Linda, I have received Maker's Mark Ice cube trays that make round ice balls. It's so the bourbon rolls off the easier, I've received a candle of red wax with a Maker's Mark metal stamp, it's to seal your letters with, Maker's coasters etc. When I became an Amabssador years ago, they put my name on a Barrel of Maker's and then sent me updates as the barrel aged and was moved to different places in the aging warehouse. When the barrel was ready, they invited me down to the Corporate campus in Loretto, Ky and I was able to hand dip two bottles of Maker's with my name printed on the bottle label. There was a copper tag hung around the bottle with the barrel number. A great experience for me. The bottles remain un opened. I have marked them to be used for my funeral. Hopefully that isn't anytime soon. LOL.

I love the composite and your story, Fstop12! I just showed this to my husband, who also thought it was cool. We are bourbon lovers and really enjoy traveling to KY to visit the distilleries. Maker's Mark has a beautiful campus; pretty sure I've got a picture of that wagon with the barrels. haha Anyway, thank you for sharing your story along with the cool composite! Merry Christmas!

Have you been to the other distilleries. They have a complete bourbon trail that you can take to visit all the places in Ky. I've been to most of them.

Pretty neat! All I get for being a Jack Daniels Squire is a calendar every year and some random letters about the square inch of distillery property that came along with being a Squire.
