Continuing the Day Trip on the Backroads of Tennessee

Continuing our Day trip down the backroads of Tennessee brings us to Lawernceburg Tennesse area. Our primary purpose for going here was to check out this old See Rock City sign on the side of this old barn. We then made a stop at this old store with all the old cars and signs. The owner was outside poking around and invited in to the building to look around. We were wearing masks, he wasn't. We decided not to go in and spent some time photographing odds and ends in the yard. Don't ask me about the Christmas tree ornament sitting on the bumper of the old truck. I thought it made for an interesting shot. I'm still trying to figure out why the turn sign is sticking out of the front end of that old truck and the statue is lying next to it. Maybe the driver didn't make the curve. At any rate, it made me stop and think about it so I took a shot of it. We could have spent a lot more time poking around here but the day was growing older and we continued on. Tomorrow's posting we will finish up the day. All images shot with Iphone 8+ with Moment 18mm wide lens.
