I told my daughters I needed updated pictures of them and thought we'd wear ugly sweaters. Well my oldest was feeling ill and my youngest has a stye. I still had my middle daughter but I couldn't find a sweater for her.

For both images I had two bare flashes on light stands pointing at the walls behind us and camera left.

Here's a clever trick... pull the camera up a foot or so higher and look upward into the lens...
And your double chin will disappear instantly...

Also turn sideways to the camera like your daughter's image...
This will make your physique appear more "stately"
