I have this lens. It is incredibly sharp. I have mine set halfway between infinity and the 1-meter mark. I seldom change it from that focus point.

I have this lens for a FF Nikon and although manual, brilliant images produced by this lens. Rush to buy--it's a great lens for fish eye and astro.
