New to hedgehog with 50 years photo experience,3 home darkrooms, thousands of b&w negs, some Cibachrome, gum bichromate, photo silkscreen and photo sandblasting. My favorite film camera was a Pentax 6x7; a heavy and noisy beast but lovely 6cm x 7cm negatives. Now working with a Nikon D600 and tricky but potentialy awesome digital editing. The old darkroom with a 6ft. sink is now handy for fermenting various types of liquids.
Welcome to the Hog, what do you like to shoot?
Welcome to the forum! Great that you are now in the digital world, (though I'd like to see some of your favorite film work.) Are you having some scans done? Many of us have also transitioned from the film to the digital. Let s know your projects and questions...
Welcome to the "Hog". Please stay well and share some of your work - the post-processing skills should build quickly since you have lots of darkroom experience. Maximumizing the dynamic range of the sensor is nuanced, I find. Lots of help available here if you get stuck on something!
Welcome. Have fun in the digital world.
Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the site there is a lot to offer.
Welcome to the Hog 🦔your experience is welcome also.
Welcome to the Hog, enjoy. I also own a D600 and think it is a great camera.
Fermented liquids can be quite helpful along the road to learning digital post processing skills. Bottoms up and welcome to the Hog.
