Interesting. Apollo Beach, the town.
I know an Apollo Beach, the beach, in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Apollo Beach is a small little town about 15 miles south of Tampa. It "had" a beach before one of the hurricanes of 2004 that didn't hit Tampa but did enough wind and wave damage, basically destroying the beach from almost 3/4 of a mile long to leaving today with less than 100 yards.
