CF card reader recommendations

I have been looking and reading reviews on CF card readers and I'm not have much luck in finding one that doesn't have a bunch of disheartening negative reviews. As always, I'm reaching out to my Hedgehog family for help.

I use a Lexar Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader (UDMA 7). About $22 from B&H. Great reader. Does not bend pins.

Fifteen? years ago I purchased a multi-card USB cheapie at Office Depot (<$20).
It still works.

I use the pixel flash no bent pins without the cord since the cord version has issues with the cable breaking.

...mine is a Transcend I bought many years ago when virtually all my Nikons used CF cards. Still does the job when I need it! (I never could figure out the "bent pin" moaning...I've *never* had a problem with that and I'm not that careful by nature <shrug>)

I’m using a nice black anodized aluminum SanDisk USB-3 reader that handles CF, SD, etc. Very well made and a huge improvement over my previous $10 cheapo reader.

I, also, use a SanDisk multi-card reader. Never had a problem.

Insignia from Best Buy for under $20. Does SD, micro sd & some others. Has 5 different card slots. I haven't read any reviews or compared it to any others. Uploaded just over 5200 photos with no problems. When uploading 200-800 pics to LR6 making smart previews, 1:1 & some other function(I know it is doing 3 processes at once from a 36 MP camera) , I make a cup of coffee or check some emails & it is done when I come back most times. It doesn't take a half hour or anything like that. Unless the reviews shows a high failure rate or a super slow speed for a working photog, I wouldn't worry about it.

For CF cards I have one [hidden in my stuff!] that has a deep well before the pins are engaged. The typical ones allow insertion crooked and that bends the pins.

Use the cable and avoid card reader hassle. Do one or both cards and not have to pull then out. At worst it's a little slower - get a cup of coffee.
