I am grateful that I can accept and enjoy solitude. The cane is only part of my collection of stuff that I use for selfies

On a good note! I watched a live presentation called "The New Nature Photography" Lisa was excellent at explaining ways of improving your photos for printing...specifically using a subject and placing it in a different background if necessary or just using a long, narrow composition. A couple days ago I worked on an abstract (Photo Art) to see what I could produce. I took the photo of the Sandhill cranes last January and the texture is one I purchased. I will be looking for good landscape compositions that will suit my needs. I like the textures that I purchased but nothing like using my own! (Self challenge) :-)

As somebody who has sold texture pics on microstock networks, I thank you for giving somebody a chance. Your end result is really nice.

Well everything is shut down around here but I am grateful that gas stations still have coffee. I enjoy rambling with my camera and a coffee.

Lol. Now that's strong coffee.

The posts are wonderful. I think it is interesting how many of us share the same things and people for which we are grateful. I'm also thankful for....

Is the pandemic keeping him from visiting? I used to work in a group home (or 2) , and we would always close the house for the two big holidays so everybody could visit family.

Yes - the pandemic means they avoid public places, the public (guardians, visitors) cannot go in the house, we can visit outdoors, cannot be in the car together. 3 clients and 24 hr staff (who have PPE for personal care). All have cognitive issues - if one person gets it, would be next to impossible to isolate the individual. Risks had relaxed enough that he had been able to return to work...now he can't until vaccine and/ or lowered positivity %.
