Whoa! Those are extra fine pics! The diversity of birds never ceases to amaze.
Thanks, Appy. You are right about the diversity of birds. The puffins are so colorful that you would expect to see them in the tropics not in Scandinavia.
Thanks. Your hubby is right, it takes a lot of planning and making ferry and other transportation reservations in advance. I went with a friend who had been there before and took the reins.

My traveling companions knew better than leaving it to me to make the travel arrangements.
My husband makes the travel arrangements. I do the packing and everything else that's involved. I know for sure I couldn't plan as well as he does, and I know for sure that he can't pack to save his life! It all works out.
Puffins are totally under-rated birds. Used to see them in droves when I was a child. They are very droll in flight and when swimming. Great captures as usual. Nicely rendered. Put a smile on my face. Plese stay well and keep on sharing the great work.
These are two puffin photos that I took on Mykines, one of the Faroe Islands. It was a fairly steep climb to get to the ridge where the puffins hang out but once there it was puffin heaven.

Excellent ! Puffins are on my list of birds to photograph. Don't know if I ever will in my life time visit Faroe islands. I have seen some beautiful images of the remote islands. Thanks for posting.
