I saw in the paper that the Golden Gate Bridge District is in trouble. Since the Virus, the bridge traffic is cut in half. The buses have a few peoples in it and the ferry is like 20 percent what it was before.
I drove over the bridge for 14 years and paid 50 cents. I will never forget the day when the bridge had a snow cover on it I took my camera out from the compartment for never ever seen shot, I had no film in it.

Very well done.. That bridge, the Hoover Dam, and the Empire State building, were all built in 4 years in the 30's. Today the permits would take longer to be granteed

It is a lovely bridge similar in design and build as our Verrazano. Narrows Bridge by the Atlantic Bight between Brooklyn and Staten Island.

When I was a kid my Dad took me to Brooklyn (we lived in Queens) to the waters edge. He pointed to the beginnings of a bridge being built over the water in Staten Island and said “some day a bridge will be built all the way over here to where we’re standing.” I’ll never forget it.

Excellent photos of possibly the most photographed bridge in the World. (Maybe the Brooklyn Bridge can compete.)
