Don't think that Nikon makes grips for the D7500. The aftermarket ones only hold one battery.
The aftermarket models holding only a single battery sort of defeats the main purpose of the battery grip in the first place --

Not only that, I don't think that it is a full-function device, I think that it only has a shutter release, no dials or buttons.
This is only from looking at the site, I don't think that I need it with this limited capacity.
Nikon on Nikon is the absolute best to go. It will also help with resale.

Mainly for those used equipment purchasers who require everything to match!

I'm looking to purchase a battery grip for my Nikon 7500. There seems to be quite a few random brands on Amazon with mixed reviews. Anyone have a reccomendation?
Yes, stick with Nikon, you will pay much more for that grip but it was designed for your very expensive DSLR so why would you skimp on your battery grip........
Since I don’t shoot with Nikon, I may be way off base. If I offend you, please accept my apology in advance.
When I purchased my Canon cameras they were bundled in a kit. I had a battery grip for both those cameras. I used it for the first few days that I had the cameras. But, the bulk and the weight made the cameras harder to work with. I didn’t mind my hand and wrist being “pretzeled.” After a few days I put it back in the box. I will probably use it when I have a big shoot such as a wedding. ( I’m not a professional). One thing that concerned me is the plastic cap that covered and protected the power contacts. So, I attached the plastic cap and kept it in place with some rubber bands and some plastic wire ties.
For some reason I noticed the there is no Nikon battery Grip for the D7500 . I’m not sure why Nikon didn’t build one but there are several after market models. Another thing I noticed, the grip is connected to the camera by a wire. If I’m wrong, Please correct me. This is somewhat cumbersome, as the wire will create a catch point and pull the wire from the body. It is possible that the wire may become worn and damaged or wire port.
For what it’s worth, I have bought several after market items for my Canon from VELLO. These items and this manufacturer were recommended by the employees at B&H. As yet, I have never had any issues with merchandise from that company.
As for your need to buy a battery grip, that is your decision. I’m not here to sway your opinion in favor of or against the purchase of an item. But be happy with your choice.

I really don't think that anyone would not buy a camera because it is not using a Nikon grip. Esp because Nikon doesn't make a grip for the 7500.

Wouldn't the primary reason to buy a camera be the camera?
Not the accessories?
