How do you send in photographs to the site. I would appreciate some critiques of certain photos I have taken over the past two years or so and they are still sitting in my camera, on my phone or on my I-Pad. Should I be visiting the local camera shop professional to start a file of the better shots or a couple of sets of albums, including Portugal, Spain, Gibraltar and Morocco, and still life’s and family photos(candies, of course). Would
like comments from the group as to what direction is best to go in. Thanks. Name us Al.

Hi Al,

So what kind of camera is it? It should have come with some software to allow you to get them off the camera and edit and save them? Assuming your have a desktop computer, or do you plan to use the Ipad and phone for everything? I'm not sure what you mean by visiting the local camera shop, maybe give more information?

Bill

Welcome to the forum. You already have pic upload instructions so I'll skip that part. On get albums made, sure . I'm sure your camera store will want the business. You could probably use Costco , Bay Photo, Walgreens, etc. but would have to pay for shipping. You could always google getting photo albums made. I'm sure there are a lot of different quality of them out there with plenty of options. Check out this guys you tube channel. It might give you some ideas.

Welcome to UHH Al. You already got information on posting photos, so I won't repeat the same info to post pics here on the site.

As "bleirer" said, depending on what brand of camera you have, you should have processing software that came with it. Are you shooting Raw, .jpg, or Raw + .jpg? If shooting Raw, you will need to process your images and convert to .jpg. If shooting .jpg and selecting a "scene selection mode" such as landscape, portrait, night scene, beach/snow, or any of the other modes, you image has been processed by the camera manufacturers in-camera processing software and is basically ready for printing if that is the look you desire.

Giving more information when asking a question will enable forum members to better help you and answer your questions. Don't be afraid to ask for help. There are plenty of members here who will be more than willing to help you out if you ask.
