These are absolutely lovely, Joe. Even without trees. Is that grass or something else? Doesn’t seem to produce bushes or weeds.

Thank you Barbara, glad you like these, even without the trees. Definitely grass on the flat areas, but I am unsure what creeps up these mountains, like on #8, have often wondered about this, could be a kind of moss, but I am not sure. Joe

I always like the water, but these landscapes were first class, Joe!

Yes, not many people do the entire Ring road, so the eastern and northern sides of Iceland are not that well known but actually have some real nice scenery and interesting places - you will see as we go on.

We didn't have time to go any further north (east) than Jökulsárlón. Each day was full.
So much to do and see.
