You are having a wonderful day, and have so much gratitude. My socks are mostly in pairs, if not I wear mismatched... I hate throwing them away when one gets a hole.

I have 12 pair of black socks that are all the same and 6 pair of navy socks that are all the same. Makes matching easy except I am usually one sock short. I think the roomba picked up a sock and carried it under the bed.
That roomba is a blessing most of the time, but it can be very annoying. I have pieces of yarn tied to the cord of my laptop. Tie them on there to make sure it does not get tripped over. Darn if yesterday the roomba did not grab the strings and get everything tangled up. Today I replaced the pieces of yarn with hot pink duct tape. I will not be defeated by a robotic vacuum cleaner.

Things are changing fast over here, so it is hard to keep up. But I watch the news channel first thing in the morning when I'm getting breakfast so I can try to keep up.
Do they sell combination washer/dryers over there. They sell little ones here for little houses.
Mum and DD and the cats drive me nuts sometimes, but I'm glad they were here during lockdown. Of course you have to visit your friends, as safely as possible please.

Woody is changing in his old age, he keeps taking rounds out of Zee. Sometimes I let her clean his clock, he deserves it. 😼 xoxo

Sounds like a great meal and great company even when the connection goes wonky.
I'm a bit weird with certain left overs, I like cold fried chicken and cold bbq burgers straight out of the fridge.

I cannot eat cold chicken or burgers or pizza........okay I don’t really like left overs there are just a few exceptions!

Good afternoon from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 12:57 EDT and 15'C (59'F). It's lovely and sunny.
Saturday was a remarkable day. The temperature was in the 20's C and it was sunny. I barbequed some hamburgers for supper. Sunday was our Thanksgiving and we tried to do a Skype call during supper. My brother's internet wasn't up to it and we had moments of freezing and then the video would go superfast to catch up. But we did all get to see my brother's grey and white goatee beard. He looks very different. My sister and BIL were having frosty conversations, so not sure what is going on there. And my niece was her usual hot and cold. The turkey was lovely. It was overcooked but it was a Butterball brand so it was still juicy. We had squash, broccolli and mashed potatoes with parsley from our garden. Sunday night, I was sick most of the night. I had pulled out one of the barbequed hamburgers from the fridge and nuked it for lunch, but not enough. So yesterday was a good day for a rainy day because I wasn't moving much.
Our new covid numbers over the weekend were 939, 809 and 807. Toronto, Ottawa and Peel(to the west of Toronto) are back in Stage 2 lockdown. The schools and churches are not locked down, but restaurants and bars are not allowed to have people inside. The bars can serve alcohol as takeout. They are not allowed to have more than 10 people inside their houses, but they can get into crowded buses and can go to work, even though there are more than 10 people with them. Anything so that the premier doesn't have to stop business again.
We have the consultant call again. Which is good because several things happened over the weekend and he has called support to help us out. I'm sure it will be all fixed today.
I knit a lot of the Cat Distraction shawl. Unfortunately mum wants it.

Hahaha, I just Googled 'Cat Distraction Shawl', before I realised it was the shawl you are knitting to distract the cat!!! I feel sorry for those at the sharp end of government, they really are between a rock and a hard place, death versus financial ruin, I wouldn't like to be responsible for making the rules just now!! xxxx

Yes, we can get those combination machines over here, that would certainly solve Susan's problem!! https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/laundry/washer-dryers/332_3120_30207_xx_xx/xx-criteria.html

I saw a great video on FB yesterday, the guy had two roombas because their lounge was split level so one on each level. In the morning, the one from the upper part was sat on top of the lower one. Their security video showed that they met up at the step so the lower one had levelled out the step and the other one just rolled on top of it, hilarious!!
