Great shots! I used to love to ride in the snow. So many people don't realize that the heat rising from the horse's body keeps you pretty comfortable (except for your nose)
No snow where I live now.

Thanks! And yes the heat from them helps a lot. I can send ya some if you want!

In Vermont snow is GOLD. Vermont is the ski capital of the East.People come from NY,NJ,NH,MA, to ski.

Snow is gold here as well.....Whitefish Mountain Resort is only 15 minutes away and we get a lot of tourist in the winter to ski and snowmobile. We snowmobile but don't ski.

Well done. I think it adds to the shot when you some how include part of the horse or maybe just the tack.

Snow is the prime reason I moved from North Dakota to Deep South Texas. Last time we had snow was Christmas Day 2004, for me that's just about right.

Again great shots. I agree about bringing the wolves back

Thanks...so glad you enjoyed them! My brother lives in Corpus Christi and complains when it gets down to 50

Wonderful set, Cindy! BTW skiers do not dread the "S" word.

Thanks Mike..... We have friends that have a "Pray for snow" party and it usually works! I have to confess....I kinda like that white stuff!

Thanks! If I could have the snow to play in but have it be 50 degrees....that would be perfect !

Beautiful captures, Cindy. I’m not looking forward to winter.

Yes that nasty word...."Snow"....it has arrived! So might as well get out and enjoy it so to speak. We took the horses out for a few rides this past week and got all the weather Mother Nature throws our way....rain, snow, wind and sunshine...and enjoyed every minute of it!

Went and checked out a hunting area that we haven't been to in about 3 yrs......no deer or elk to be found but lot's of wolf and bear tracks...so sad!

Very nice shots Cindy. My sister lives in Northern Michigan where they get more than their share of snow but we hardly get any where I live and I'm hoping for some this Winter. I had a very nice snow thrower that I gave away because it was only taking up room. I bought it when I lived in the Chicago area.

Great images!!!! Cindy
I don't mind the snow, it's the idiots that don't know how to drive in it that bothers me, but I'M retired now and don't have to contend the "No driving S.O.B.s" ( my pet name for them). And a plus I now live farther away from St.Louis.

Great set. Love the exposure and windshield icing bands in #1 photo, really creates a sense of being there.
