Wow! Everything (and I mean everything) there is to know about aviation in 1941. Funny to see so many aircraft like the Corsair, considered uniquely American, with foreign markings. Also interesting that in 1941 there were about 30 companies producing civilian market aircraft. Thanks for posting; I'm sending this to several friends.

Many thanks for posting that link.

Something enjoyable to fill my days while the covid is keeping me house bound.

There are many photos of places I saw/visited over the years but never knew how they looked during their 'production' years like the Sikorsky/Vought plant where my old boss worked. He told me how he added the railroad tracks to the production line for the corsairs during the war. Now I have a better image of what it was like when he worked there.
